CC Regular Session 5.6. <br />Meeting Date: 04/25/2023 <br />By: Brian McCann, Community Development <br />Information <br />Title: <br />Adopt Resolution #23-069 Approving Final Plat and Development Agreement for Cedarview Estates (formerly <br />Cedar Acres) [Project 22-136] <br />Purpose/Background: <br />The purpose of this case is to consider approval for the Final Plat and Development Agreement of Cedarview <br />Estates (formerly Cedar Acres) from Tom Dehn (the "Applicant") on the property directly north of Fire Station #1 <br />along Armstrong Blvd and generally known as 15060 Armstrong Blvd NW (the "Subject Property"). The City <br />Council approved the three -lot single-family preliminary plat for the project in November 2022 contingent upon <br />the developer finalizing the final plat, Park Dedication, and final approval of plans - subject to current Staff <br />Review comments and approval by the City Engineer. This last step in the phase of platting, Final Plat, approves <br />construction documents and the Final Plat Sheet for recording and legal subdivision. The next step after Final Plat <br />is a development agreement, which outlines fees and responsibilities for each party throughout construction. The <br />final plat is consistent with the approved preliminary plat. <br />The attached development agreement is the City's standard template. The development agreement lays out fees, <br />project costs, and financial sureties that the City will take in order to ensure that the project is completed to City <br />standards.
