Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #81-? <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REGARDING ANOKA cOUNTY cOmPRESSIVE PLAN <br /> WHEREAS, Anoka County Board of Commissioners submitted their <br />Comprehensive Plan to the City of Ramsey for comments to approve/disapprove/ <br />amend plan; andwHEREAS, the Anoka County Comprehensive Plan has been avail- <br /> able at the Ramsey City Hall for City Council members to revieW. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, cITY OF RANISEY, ANOKA <br /> COUNTY, STATE OF~tlNNESOTA, as follows: <br /> l) The Ramsey City Council hereby gives their tacit approval <br /> of the Anoka County Comprehensive Plan. <br /> 2) The Ramsey City Council wants to go on record of stating <br /> that it is difficult to give approval on a comprehensive plan that will <br /> cover such a broad scope on future county development. Consequently, they <br /> may unknowingly give approval to a document that could have adverse affects <br /> on the City of Ramsey in the future. <br /> 3) The City of Ramsey requests that Anoka County review <br /> their Five (5) Year Capital Improvement Program budget with all the cities <br /> of the County annually before it is adopted. It also requests that'con- <br /> sideration be given to reviewir~ the annual operation budget with the <br /> cities of the County. <br /> <br /> · e requests that the p~oposed Rum River <br /> 4) The Cmty of Rams y ~ - , -~hens~ve Plan and that <br /> · -- ~- inserted into the uo_t~.my ~ ~v~-. ~{,1 Imorovement <br /> bridge c~oss~ ~ -~ ~* the County's f~ve ~5;.year ~a~ <br /> it also De come a paru <br /> Budget. <br /> 5) The City of Ramsey requests that the county insert the <br /> City of p,m~ey's proposed ai.rport site in their Comprehensive Plan. <br /> 6) The City of R~m~ey requests that the County insert the <br /> proposed Rum River multi-purpose recreation facility in their plan. <br /> 7) Further, the City Council of the City of Ramsey wants <br /> to be kept informed on the action the County takes on the above requests <br /> aa Shese issues have all been discussed and agreed upon preViously with <br /> the County Board. <br /> The motion for the adop£1on of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br /> by Councilmember Van Wagner and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- <br /> ing voted in favor thereof: <br /> Mayor GameC, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Van Wagner, Reimar~ <br /> and Cox <br /> <br /> <br />
