CO~IPI~ROLLER <br /> <br />The Commission has expended over $7 million in the past several years to develop a <br />cohesive, metropolitan facilities plan. These studies were required under section <br />201 of Public Law 92-500 and the clean water act and 75% of the monies expended <br />were reimbursed by the Federal Government and 15% by the State Government. This <br />planning effort provides the basis for improvements to the metropolitan collection <br />and disposal system up to the turn of the centurY. <br /> <br />Construction costs needed for these improvements totalled over $650 million (1979 <br /> llars).
