MAYOR'S TOWN HALL MEETING <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The monthly Mayor's Town Hall meeting was held beginning at 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, <br />April 16, 2009, in the Alexander Ramsey Room at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 <br />Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Present: Mayor Bob Ramsey <br />Councilmember Colin McGlone <br />City Administrator Kurt Ulrich <br />City Clerk Jo Thieling <br />Mayor Ramsey introduced himself, Councilmember McGlone, Mr. Ulrich and Mrs. <br />Thieling to the resident present. He presented a brief history of the Ramsey Town <br />Center, talked about the rail station and the desire for one in Ramsey and the proposed <br />interchange on Armstrong Boulevard. <br />Heather Inglehart, 15461 Yakima Street NW, presented some literature on the Anoka <br />High School play coming up the end of April, with the proceeds going to help fight <br />juvenile diabetes. She gave a brief background on juvenile diabetes and encouraged all <br />present to attend the play. <br />Mayor Ramsey inquired if Ms. Inglehart had any concerns to which she replied she is a <br />little concerned about the growth in the pond in her neighborhood. City Clerk Thieling <br />offered to express her concerns to Public Works Director Olson and he would get back to <br />Ms. Inglehart. <br />The meeting was adjourned at 8:17 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Jo Ann M.
