<br />Councilmember Woestehoff introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #23-079 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING LEASE AGREEMENT OF 6745 HWY 10 NW WITH RM <br />GOLF CARTS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, rm Golf Carts, Inc. (the “Tenant”) has leased space in the rear 2,150 square <br />feet of the building located at 6745 Hwy 10 and depicted as “Area F” (the “Lease Space”) on the <br />attached lease agreement for the past 7 years; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, rm Golf Carts, Inc. has asked the City to consider a two-year renewal of the <br />Lease Space; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, rm Golf Carts, Inc. has been a quality tenant for the duration of its previous <br />leases with the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed lease rate has been increased by 5% and has an annual 5% <br />inflator - $230.79 per month from June 1, 2023-May 31, 2024 and $242.33 per month from June <br />1, 2024-May 31, 2025 and is considered market rate. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City of Ramsey authorizes execution of the Lease Agreement with rm Golf Carts, <br />Inc.; subject to City Attorney review. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Olson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />
