Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #06-03-XXX RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #06-03 (SEALCOAT AND CRACK FILL COMMERCIAL STREETS, 141sT AVENUE, 143go AVENUE, JASPAR STREET, BASALT STREET) WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #05-12-405 on December 13, 2005, fixing a date for a Council public heating on the proposed improvement to sealcoat and crack fill Commercial Street, 141st Avenue, 143fa Avenue, Jaspar Street, Basalt Street, and; WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was given, and the heating was held on January 24, 2006, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; and WHEREAS, the City has waited the required sixty (60) days following the public heating. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed on March 28, 2006. 2) City Engineer Steve Jankowski is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. He shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. 3). The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such plans and specifications. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 28th day of March, 2006.
