Councilmember Elvig replied that he appreciated the Mayor's viewpoint, but questioned how <br />people are supposed to get the information they need if the City does not help facilitate getting <br />information into the City. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec replied that people can get information from the County. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cook stated that he has also received many e-mails about the issue. He agreed <br />with the Mayor that this was an issue that the Council should not get involved with. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig stated that he agrees that it is not a City issue it is a personal issue, but it is <br />still an issue that impacts our residents and how are they supposed to get the information they <br />need to know. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec replied that there is a website that people can go to or they can call Anoka County <br />Administration. <br /> <br />Councilmember Olson agreed that this was a County issue, not a City issue. <br /> <br />Councilmember Pearson also agreed that the City should not be getting involved. <br />Councilmember Jeffrey stated that there are avenues for people to get more information. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br /> Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to adjourn the meeting. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br /> The regular meeting of the City Council adjourned at 9:08 p.m. <br /> <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />James E.
