I <br /> Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for <br /> i its adoption: <br /> <br /> I RESOLUTION APPROVING FENCING AROUND PUMP ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT AT CENTRAL PARK <br /> . <br /> WHEREAS, it has been recorm-nended by the City s Public Works <br />I Superintendent and the City Engineer that fencing be provided around pump <br /> electrical equipment at Central Park to protect equipment from vandalism; <br /> and <br />I WHEREAS, the cost of providing fencing around the pump electrical <br /> equipment was not provided for in the Central Park well and irrigation project <br /> costs; <br /> and <br />I WHEREAS, the City Charter requires the City Council to amend the <br /> budget where a major item is not budgeted. <br />I NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br /> COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />I 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes the construction of <br /> a barrier safety fence around the pump electrical system at Central Park. <br />I 2) That the City Council hereby approves of Budget Amendment #4 <br /> to the 1984 City Budget Park Fund 215, Activity 2150, Line Item 1512 in the <br /> amount of $650.00. <br />I 3) That it is directed the City Accounting Department be furnished <br /> a copy of this and take appropriate action. <br />I 4) That it is further directed that the Public Works Superintendent <br /> be furnished a copy to assure that said fence is installed. <br />I The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br /> Councilmember Schlueter and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />i in favor thereof: <br /> Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Schlueter and <br /> Reimann <br />I and the following voted against the same: <br /> None <br /> <br />m whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br /> City Council this the lOth day of July, 1984. <br /> <br /> <br />
