I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption; RESOLUTION #84-122 RESOLUTION APPROVING PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT TO REPLACE STOLEN PIECES OF EQUIPMENT WHEREAS, the Public Works Superintendent has requested that the following stolen pieces of equipment be replaced: Two (2) Chain Saws One (1) Weed Trimer WHEREAS, the following price quotes were received on the following pieces of equipment: a) Dehn's Four Seasons; 1) Chain Saw - Super XL AO w/16" Bar 3.5 CID $355.00 2) Chain Saw - Super El-aO w/16" Bar 2.5 CID 315.00 3) Grass Trimmer - ST 20031.1CC 190.00 b) Lehman's Small Engines: 1) Chain Saw - 630 Johnsred 3.8 CID 2) Chain Saw - 490 Johnsred 3.4 CID and $430.00 339.95 WHEREAS, it appears that Lehman's Small Engines has the lowest bid on comparable pieces of equipment as follows: a) Chain Saw - 490 Johnsred 3.4 CID $339.95 b) Grass Trirmer - GT 160 139.OO NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the purchase of the following pieces of equipment: Two (2) Chain Saws - 490 Johnsred 3.4 CID @ $339.95 ea. $679.90 One (1) Grass Trimmer - GT 160 @ $139.00 139.O0 TOTAL $818.90 2) That it is therefore directed that the City Administrator in- form all who submitted price quotes of the Council's action. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Schlueter and Reimann Resolution #84-122 Page 1 of 2 ,27
