RESOLUTION ~84- <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of <br />Municipal Well No. 1, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, <br />and the following were received complying with the advertisement: <br /> <br />Bergerson Caswell, Inc. <br />E. H. Rennet and Sons, Inc. <br />La)me Minnesota Company <br /> <br />$44,980 <br />$46,510 <br />$66,800 <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it appears that 15ergerson Caswell, Inc. <br />bidder. <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE ri' RESOLVED BY THE C1TY COUNCIl. OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STA'r/~ OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized and directed <br />to enter into the attached contract with Bergerson Caswell, Inc. of <br />for the construction of Municipal Well No. 1 according to the plans and specifications <br />therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City <br />Administrator/Clerk. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return <br />forthwith to all bidders the deposit made with their bids, except that the deposit <br />of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract <br />is signed. <br /> <br /> <br />
