RESOLUTION #81- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT <br />FOR BIDS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on the <br />10th day of February, 1981, the City Engineer (Consulting Engineers <br />Diversified, Inc.) has prepared plans and specifications for the improve- <br />ment of: <br /> <br />-- Variolite Street N.W. between the llne of 161st Street <br /> to 173rd Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for their <br />approval. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAN~EY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached <br />hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. <br /> <br /> 2) The City A~m~uistrator/Clerk shall prepare and cause to be <br />inserted in the official paper (Anoka County Union) and in the Construction <br />Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement <br />under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be <br />published in April, 1981, shall specify the work to be done, shall state <br />that bids will be received by the City Administrator/Clerk until ll:O0 <br />A.M. on May ll, 1981, at which time they will be publicly opened in the <br />Council Chambers of the City Hall by the City A~m~uistrator/Clerk and City <br />Engineer and will then be tabulated and will be considered by the Council <br />at 7:30 P.M. on May 12, 1981, in the Council C~mbers. No bids will be <br />considered unless sealed and filed with the City A~m~istrator/Clerk and <br />accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified <br />check payable to the clerk for (5) five percent of the amount of such bid. <br /> <br /> <br />
