TO: <br /> <br />FR0~: <br /> <br />SUBJ: <br /> <br />ENCL: <br /> <br />Mayor and Council Members <br /> City Administrator/Clerk <br /> <br /> Cable TV Public Hearing and Council action required <br /> <br /> (1) Public Hearing notice that was published in the Anoka <br /> Union on April 10, 1981 <br /> <br /> (2) Request for proposal for a Cable Communication Franchise <br /> <br /> (3) Letter dated April 6, 19gl from Thomas Creighton, Attorney <br /> for Anoka, Andover, Champlin, Ramsey Cable TV Commission <br /> <br />1) Enclosure (1) contains the public hearing notice that was published <br />in our official newspaper, the Anoka Union, which is submitted for your <br />information. <br />2) Enclosure (2) contains the request proposal for a cable communication <br />franchise which Council members will have to approve by resolution. It <br />should be noted each City Council (Andover, Anoka, Champlin and Ramsey) <br />will have to approve this document. The document has been prepared by <br />the Andover, Anoka, Champlin and Ramsey Cable TV Commission and by law <br />has to be submitted to each City Council for their approval. Mr. Tom <br />Creighton will go over this document at the public hearing with the City <br />Council and citizens. <br /> 3) Enclosure (3) is a letter I requested from Mr. Creighton in regards <br /> to pornographic material being broadcas~ over this proposed cable TV <br /> franchise. I'm very satisfied with his answer to m~ question.
