Buechler from assistant vice president to vice <br />president of The ToMe Company. Buechler, who is also <br />the manager of Towle's Real Estate Finance Department, <br />administers the department as well as structuring financing <br />proposals. Before joining The Towle Company in 1977, he <br />spent six years working in the mortgage-related field of <br />accounting, management reporting and commercial loan <br />production. <br /> <br /> FINANCING ARRANGEMENTS COMPLETED <br /> Rothschild Financial Corporation is pleased to announce it <br /> has arranged the financing on the following projects: a <br />~v4,400 square foot light industrial building on State High- <br /> ay 101 in Shakopee; a 20,160 square foot multi.tenant <br /> office building in Columbia Heights; and a 57,788 square <br /> foot industrial building for Thomas Engineering in North- <br /> land Industrial Park in Brooklyn Park. The North Central <br /> Distributing Company building in Shakopee was originally <br /> placed by Rothschild Financial on a standby basis. Perma- <br /> nent financing was arranged by Rothschild Financial in the <br /> amount of $1,100,000. North Central Distributing will <br /> occupy two-thirds of the structure. NAIOP member Don <br /> Woodward & Associates is representing the owner as leas- <br /> ing agent for the remainder of the space. <br /> <br /> NORTHLAND MORTGAGE <br /> ANNOUNCES PROMOTION <br /> Northland Mortgage Company is pleased to announce the <br /> promotion of Stanford Baratz to assistant vice president. <br />~.i. talan Baratz joined Northland Mortgage Company's commer- <br /> staff in April of 1978 with responsibility for originating, <br /> underwriting and placing commercial mortgages with insti- <br /> tutional investors. He is a graduate of the American Uni- <br /> versity in Washington, D.C. with a B.A. in Political Science. <br /> He also has a Masters degree in Business Administration, <br /> specializing in finance, from the University of Minnesota. <br /> <br />MINNESOTA MULTI HOUSING PLANS <br />CREATIVE FINANCING SEMINAR <br />Financing Strategies for the 1980's - come to the Minnesota <br />Multi Housing Association Tabletop Display on Tuesday, <br />May 26 at the Leamington Hotel in Minneapolis and hear <br />Norman Flynn, renowned U.S. speaker on creative financing. <br />Mr. Flynn will speak at 8:00 a.m. on creative financing for <br />income producing properties and strategies for the 1980's. <br />He will cover real estate returns, ownership entities, leverag- <br />ing, financing, evaluating your investment, minimizing the <br />risks, purchasing, selling, management and taxes. Dinner will be at 8:00 p.m. For more <br />information or reservations call 927-8602. <br />The Minnesota Multi Housing Association is an organization <br />representing about 85% of the larger owners, builders, in- <br />vestors and managers of multi-family housing in the state of <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />BENSON-ORTH COMPLETES CONSTRUCTION <br />Benson-Orth Associates recently completed construction of <br />a I04,000 square foot office-warehouse for the Goodin <br />Plumbing Company on North Second Street in North Wash- <br />ington Industrial Park in Minneapolis and is currently de- <br />veloping a 50,000 square foot office-warehouse for lease <br />in the same industrial area. Tom O'Connell, president of the <br />firm, also announced plans for the Ridgedale Professional <br />Center, an 80,000 square foot office building to be built <br />at the southeast corner of the intersection of Highway 12 <br />and Interstate 494. A sale to an institutional investor was ar- <br />ranged and the firm anticipates groundbreaking will be in <br />mid-Ap61 1981. <br /> <br />BENSON & MALKERSON APPOINTED <br />AS PROPERTY MANAGER <br />Jim Benson and Sherman Malke~son of Banson & Malke~son, <br />Inc. announced they have recently been appointed properly <br />manager for two multi-tenant industrial buildings which <br />total 78,400 square feet in Paco Industrial Park in Fridley, <br />and for a 40,640 square foot multi.tenant office/warehouse <br />building located in Circle Star Business Center in Plymouth. <br />The firm also manages the 45,000 square foot Florida West <br />Office Building in Golden Valley.
