.A <br />7) Water Study Contract <br />Motion by Councilwoman Van Wagner and seconded by Councilman <br />Reimann to approve of the contract for doing the Water Study as <br />presented by Consulting Engineer's Diversified and that the cost of <br />the Water Study will not exceed $2,500.00 and that the study will <br />be completed by Spetember 1, 1981. Further authorize the Mayor <br />and city Administrator to sign the above said contract. <br />Mrs. Jeanie Iverson, a citizen of Ramsey, had a meeting in her <br />home regarding the proposed Ramsey airport. Mayor Gamec, Council- <br />woman Van Wagner and Councilman Cox were in attendance. Mayor <br />Gamec stated there will be a special meeting May 19 in regard to <br />the airport issue at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be to answer any <br />questions citizens might have and let the citizens know where the <br />city is in regard to considering a proposed airport for the City <br />of Ramsey. Mayor Gamec stated there were around 170 people at <br />the meeting and the concensus was not favorable for an airport. <br />14) Authorization to Hire Police Patrol officer commencing <br />June 1, 1981. <br />U i <br />SPC /April 16, 1981 <br />2 <br />Discussion: Councilman Cox inquired if after Phase I, City <br />Engineer Raatikka would report to the City Council. City <br />Engineer Raatikka stated he would. <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Councilman Cox, Councilwoman Van Wagner, <br />Councilman Reimann, Councilman Sorteberg and Mayor Gamec. Voting <br />no: None. <br />. <br />8) Codification of City Code Contract <br />Tabled at this time. <br />11) Signalization at Intersection of Highway #10 and C.S. #57 <br />(Sunfish Lake Blvd. NW) <br />�\ <br />The Council had a brief discussion regarding the traffic control <br />signal system. <br />Motion by Councilman Reiman and seconded by Councilwoman Van Wagner <br />to direct the staff to prepare a resolution to go ahead with this <br />project and to put a percentage for a specific figure not to be <br />exceeded. Resolution #81 -20. <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilman Reimann, <br />• <br />Councilwoman Van Wagner, Councilman Cox and Councilman Sorteberg. <br />for #81 <br />Voting no: None.
