WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> METROPOLITAN COUNCIL <br />Suite 300 Metro Square Building, Saint Paul, Minnesota 55101 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 81-66 <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING COUNCIL FINDINGS FOR REVIEW OF THE <br /> ANDOVER COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br /> <br /> the Metropolitan Council is authorized, pursuant to <br /> Minnesota Statutes Section 473.145, to prepare and adopt a <br /> comprehensive development guide for the Metropolitan Area <br /> and the Council has adopted such a development guide; and <br /> the Metropolitan Council is authorized, pursUant to <br /> Milinesota Statutes, Section 473.175 and 473.851 through <br /> 473.866, the Metropolitan Land Planning Act, to review the <br /> comprehensive plans of local govenmental units to determine <br /> their compatibility with each other, conformity with <br /> metropolitan system plans, and appar'ent donsistency with the <br /> adopted chapters of the Metropolitan Development Guide; and <br /> the City of Andover has submitted its comprehensive ~lan to <br /> the Metropolitan Council for review pursuant to Minnesota <br /> Statutes, Section 473.175; and <br /> the Metropolitan Council has studied and reviewed the <br /> Andover Comprehensive Plan and has determined whether the <br /> Plan is in conformity with the metropolitan system plans, <br /> compatible with local.comprehensive plans and school capital <br /> improvement programs, and apparently consistent with other <br /> adopted chapters of the Metropolitan Development Guide. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE -IT RESOLVED: <br /> <br />THAT the Metr6politan Council adopt the attached City of Andover <br />Comprehensive Plan review report, Referral Report No. 81-76, and '' <br />the r~commendations found on the cover page and-at pages 20-22 of <br />the report as its review of the Andover Comprehensive Plan <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 473.175. <br /> <br />Adopted this 9th . day' of <br /> <br />METROPOLITAN'COuNCIL <br /> <br />Charles R.
