PROCEEDING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAI~EY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF ~-iNNESOTA <br /> <br />A special meeting of the Ramsey Council was held onM ay 6, 1981, at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota to canvass the ballot for the park bond issue. <br /> <br />Members Present: Mayor Gamec <br /> Councilmember Cox <br /> Councilmember Reimann <br /> Councilmember Sorteberg <br /> Councilmember Van Wagner <br /> <br />Also Present: City Administrator/Clerk Lloyd G. Schnelle <br />Mayor Gamec called the meeting to order at 5:35 P.M. and led in the <br />Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Reimann <br /> to approve of the canvass of the vote which defeated the special park <br /> bond issue for ~80G~i) for park inrprovement as follows: <br /> Precinct #1 received 283 NO votes <br /> Precinct #1 received 61 YES votes <br /> <br />Precinct #2 received 242 NO votes <br />Precinct #2 received 33 YES votes <br /> <br />Precinct #3 received 3?8 NO votes <br />Precinct #3 received 85 YES votes <br /> <br />Total NO votes 903 <br />Total YES votes 179 <br /> <br /> Total votes cast 1,082 <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cox, Sorteberg <br />yanWagner and Reimann. Voting no None <br />Councilmember Cox requested that the total cost of this defeated bond <br />issue be submitted to the May 12, 1981 Council for action. Mmyor Gamec <br />stated he wouldn't be present for that meeting. It was then requested <br />that it be placed on the May 26, 1981 agenda for Council action. <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Cox to <br />adjourn the special Council meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
