~Councilmember Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #81-1la RESOLUTION ACQUIRING THE FOLLOWING TAX FORFEIT LAND FOR PUBLIC USE WHEREAS, the Anoka County Auditor by letter dated~arch 4, 1981 advised the City of Ramsey of the following parcels that were tax forfeit land: a) Plat 89302 Parcel 2100 b) Outlot "B" Whispering Pines Estates Plat #3 c) Plat 89222 Parcel 4950 d) Outlot "A" Whispering Pines Estates Plat #3 e) Plat 89210 Parcel 9050 WHEREAS, the Rsmsey CitY Council finds that each of the above described parcels has certain potential (such as right-of-way and drainage) and is in the City's best interest (health, safety and welfare) of the citizens of the City of R~msey. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLI® BY THE cITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RA~EY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA; as follows: 1) That the City Minnesota for in consideration of land for public use only: a) Plat 89302 b ) Outlot "B" of Ramsey acquire from the State of of $10 per. parcel the following parcels Parcel 2100 Whispering Pines Estates Plat #3 Plat 89222 parcel 4950 '~I 0utlot "A" Whispering Pines Estates Plat #3 · ' e) Plat 89210 Parcel 9050~ 2) That the City's Mayor and A~mqnistrative Assistant/ Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the necessary documents in'order to effectuate this property acquisition. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- ing voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Counctlmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Reimann and Cox and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed aud adopted by the R~ey City Council this the 24th day of ~arch, 1981.
