The Committee discussed the current role of the Human Resources Manager/Assistant Director <br />of Administrative Services, the future role of the Human Resources Manager/Assistant Director <br />of Administrative Services, the need for replacement staff, the possibility of not hiring a Human <br />Resources Manager, but in the alternative hiring an Economic Development position, and the <br />recruitment process. <br />Motion by Councilmember McGlone, seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey, to recommend <br />deferring this decision until after the budget discussion at the Worksession. Motion carried. <br />Voting Yes: Chairperson Dehen, Councilmembers McGlone and Jeffrey. Voting No: None. <br />Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Chairperson Dehen, that the City Council <br />accept the resignation of the Human Resources Manager/Assistant Director of Administrative <br />Services. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Dehen, Councilmembers Jeffrey and <br />McGlone.
