PERSONNEL COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Personnel Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, in the Lake <br />Itasca Room at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: Chairperson Colin McGlone <br />Mayor Bob Ramsey <br />Councilmember Jason Tossey <br />Also Present: Human Resources Representative Colleen Lasher <br />City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich <br />Deputy City Administrator Heidi A. Nelson <br />Management/Planning Intern Patrick Brama <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairperson McGlone called the regular meeting of the Personnel Committee to order at 5:00 p.m. <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br />None <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br />Consensus was to approve the agenda as presented. <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br />4.1 Consider a Resolution Accepting the Resignation of a Clerk Typist in the Finance <br />Department <br />Human Resources Representative Lasher reported that staff had received a letter of resignation <br />from Joan Smith, Clerk Typist, in the Finance Department. Ms. Smith is retiring after serving <br />part-time in the Finance Department for 12 years. Her last day is May 31, 2011. Ms. Lasher <br />explained that due to budget constraints, staff is delaying the request to refill this position at this <br />time. <br />Motion by Councilmember Tossey, seconded by Mayor Ramsey to recommend the Council adopt <br />a resolution accepting the resignation of Ms. Joan Smith, Clerk Typist in the Finance Department. <br />Motion carried.
