RULES AND REGULATIONS <br />FOR CROSS OF HOPE LL~'~ C~0RCH'S <br />GARDEN OF HOPE CEKETF-~Y <br /> <br />For the mutual protection and benefit of grave owners, the <br />following Rules and Regulations have been adopted by Garden of <br />Hope Cemetery, and all grave owners and visitors within the <br />Cemetery and all graves sold shall be subject to said Rules and <br />Regulations, and subject further to such other Rules and <br />Regulations, amendments or alterations as shall be adopted from <br />time to time. <br /> I <br /> <br />DEFINITIONS <br /> <br />ee <br /> <br />The terms lot, plot, or burialDlace shall be used <br />interchangeably and shall apply with like effect to one or <br />more adjoining grave. <br />The terms interment shall mean the permanent disposition of <br />the remains of a deceased person by burial. <br />The term Demorial shall include a monument or marker. A <br />monument is a memorial above ground at the head of the <br />grave; a marker is level with the ground and is placed at <br />the foot of the grave. At least two (2) graves are <br />necessary for erecting a monument. <br /> <br />The'term Manaqement shall comprise the persons Constituting <br />Cross of Mope Lutheran Church's Cemetery Association duly <br />appointed by the Church Council. <br /> <br />The term gare shall apply to the entire Cemetery provided by <br />either a permanent care fund or by Cross of Hope Lutheran <br />Church. <br /> II <br /> <br />GENERAL RULES <br /> <br />Garden of Hope's Cemetery is owned and operated in <br />accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota and the <br />rules and discpline of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of <br />A~erica ("ELCA"). Management reserves the right to refuse <br />admission to the Cemetery and to refuse the use of any of <br />the Cemetery's facilities, at any time, to any person or <br />persons whom the Management may deem objectional be to the <br />best interests of the Cemetery. <br /> <br />The Cemetery is intended for the burial of Lutherans and <br />members of their families who are entitled to Christian <br />burial according to the rules and discipline of the ELCA <br />TOGETHER with all other members of the public. <br /> <br /> <br />
