CASE ~10: <br />5 Minutes <br /> <br />pURCSASE OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENT SOFIWARE <br /> By: Noel Graczyk, Finance Officer <br /> <br />Background: <br />The City's current Texas Instrt~nent computer uses one of two disk drives to run <br />financial software and utility billing software. The utility billing software <br />by ComputoService will be fully tested at the City by mid-June 1988. <br /> <br />Cbse rvations: <br />In order to autor~ate the m~nual special assessments currently used by the City, <br />the City should consider implementing special assessment software on the <br />compute r. <br />Funding for purchase of the assessment system is available from the <br />Administrative Trust Fund which was created to support special assessment cost. <br />Enclosed is a letter outlining costs for the special assessment package offered <br />by ComputoService.
