PUBLIC NOTICE

ANOKA COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT APPLICATION

Anok~ County, as the Urban C~unty Community Development Block Grant
applicant, herein provides a notice to all interested agencies, groups,
and persons that it has submitted an application to the U.S. Department
of Housing and Urban Development for funding of the County's 1981 CDBG
projects. The Anoka County application is available to interested
parties by request at the Anoka County Courthouse at 325 E. Main Street,
Anoka, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. Mondays through
Fridays.

Persons wishing to object to approval of the Anoka County application by
HUD may make such objection known to the local HUD office at 220 South
2nd Street, Minneapolis. HUD will consider objections made only on the
following grounds: the applicant's description of needs and objectives
is plainly inconsistent with available facts and data; or the activities
to be undertaken are plainly inappropriate to meeting the needs and
objectives identified by the applicant; or the application does not
comply with the requirements of the 1974 Community Development Act, as
amended, or other applicable law; or the application proposes activities
which are otherwise ineligible under federal regulations.

Such objections should include both an identification of the requirements
not met and, in the case of objectives made on the grounds that the
description of needs and objectives is plainly inconsistent with significant,
generally available facts and data, the data upon which the persons
rely. Although HUD will consider the objections submitted at any time,
such objections should be submitted within 30 days of this notice. In
order to ensure that objections submitted will be considered during the
review process, HUD will not approve an application until at least 45
days after receipt of an application.

COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR

(Publish in Anoka County Union, Friday, May 22, 1981
Coon Rapids Herald, Friday, May 22, 198l
Spring Lake Park Life, Friday, May 22, 1981
Circulating Pines, Thursday, May 21, 1981
Fridley/Columbia Heights Sun, Wednesday, May 20, 1981
Forest Lake Times, Wednesday, May 20, 1981
Isanti News, Thursday, May 21, 1981
