Councilman Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #81-34 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING THAT THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, STATE OF <br />MINNESOTA INSTALL TRE FOLLOWING TYPE OF A NO "U" TURN SIGN AT THE <br />FOLLOWING LOCATION ON STATE HIGHWAY #10 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council has received complaints <br />on motorists making "U" turns on State Highway #10 between Berg Oil <br />and the Mobile Service Station and Restaurant. It appears the present <br />No "U" Turn sign located there which is a configuration sign is not <br />understood by motorists. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, IT IS REQUESTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF P~EY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The Ramsey City Council is requesting that the present <br />Configuration No "U" Turn Sign located on State Highway #10 between <br />Berg Oil and Mobile Service Station and Restaurant be removed and that <br />a new sign be installed that reads "NO U TURN" be installed. <br /> <br /> 2) It is directed that the City Administrator furnish <br />Mr. W. M. Crawford, P.E., District Engineer, Minnesota Department of <br />Transportation, District #5, 2055 North Lilac Drive, Golden Valley, <br />Minnesota 55422, a certified copy of this resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Reim~un and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />M~xyor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Van Wagner, Reimann <br />and Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />..
