total combined overflow studies of
interceptors.

the metro area

1. The approved ultimate program for the East
Interceptor calls for a parallel relief line
to be constructed (201 and 2'08 Studies).
2. The East Inter6eptor and the parallel relief
line ~ill ultimately carry all of the CAB area
flows.

ISSUES:

Is the East Interceptor parallel line eligible
for federal and state grants? Will the CAB pro-
gram be approved on its own merits without being
tied to the East Interceptor funding programs and
construction scheduling?

Does the East Interceptor require improvement
without the minor CAB flows?

C. This
extensive program is scheduled for completion during
1984. A majority of the areas' state and federal grants
have been utilized for this improvement.
of that improvement program the following
have occurred:

Since the start
(some of) events
