City of Ramsey <br />15153 NOWTHEN BOULEVARD N.W., RAMSEY, MINNESOTA 55303 · (612) 427-1410 <br /> <br />June 15, 1981 <br /> <br />Mrs. Bonnie Abel <br />5210 - 155th Avenue N.W. <br />Ramsey, Minnesota 55303 <br /> <br />RE: Unauthorized Use of a Single Family Dwelling <br /> <br />Dear Mrs. Abel: <br /> <br />We have rdceived a complaint that you have converted your single family <br />dwelling to a duplex by renting your lower level to another couple. The <br />complaintant further stated that your tenants have two dogs which are <br />creating a neighborhood nuisance. <br /> <br />You are advised that if you in fact have created a duplex in a single <br />family residential zone without a conditional use permit, you are in <br />violation of the City of Ramsey's Ordinances which constitutes a mis- <br />demeanor and is subject to penalties thereof. <br /> <br />To avoid further consideration on the part of the City it shall hz <br />necessary for you to do one of the following, if you are in fact in <br />violation of this ordinance: <br /> <br /> 1) Discontinue the use immediately and establish a time for <br />City Staff to inspect your residence to confirm that the use has been <br />discontinued. (This must be accomplished on or before July 8, 1981.) <br /> <br /> 2) Apply for a conditional use permit for those items of non <br />compliance and immediately allow for inspection of the premises to <br />determine compliance with the building code as it pertains to rental <br />property. <br /> <br />Please be advised that if the complaintant has provided us with in- <br />.accurate information, it will only be necessary for us to inspect the <br />premises to confirm this. <br /> <br />Failure on your part to contact us prio~ to Wednesday, July 8, 1981, <br />will necessitate our turning this over to our attorney for his further <br />consideration. <br /> <br /> <br />
