Absent: Councilmember Strommen. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Public Hearing: Proposed Street Name Change in Estates of Silver Oaks; <br />Case of City of Ramsey <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:18 p.m. in order to <br />conduct a public heating. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:18 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Community Development Director Trudgeon explained after the plat of Estates of Silver Oaks <br />was recorded, staff noticed that there are some inconsistencies with the street names in the <br />immediate area of the plat that do not conform with the Anoka County street name system. <br />Specifically, 162na Avenue NW within Estates of Silver Oaks subdivision should be changed to <br />162nd Lane NW. As this plat was just recorded and no permits have been pulled for lots on 162na <br />Avenue, there will be no impact to property owners. Staffrecommends conducting the required <br />public heating and introduction of the proposed ordinance. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
