;Staff has reviewed the use and finds that it is compatible with the surrounding area. The majority ~o£ activity contemplated by the Applicant will occur on Sunday or during the evenings when most of the surrounding businesses are closed. It was stated that only a few church officials and volunteers would be using the church offices during the day. Under City Code, places of assembly require a parking space for every three seats. The Applicant does not have a definite answer to the seating capacity, within the proposed site, but stated that the congregation is currently at 45 worshipers. The parking lot that serves the building in which the temporary church will be located has 28 parking stalls. In the event that overflow parking is required, the Applicant is in talks with RDTM Properties (south of the site) to use their parking lot. Staff will confirm with the Applicant that this area can serve as overflow parking. From the information available, staffbelieves that there is adequate parking for the proposed temporary Church. The remodeling work will be done hi the inte'rior of the building. A building permit will need to be granted by the City prior to commencement of the work. Recommendation: Staff recommends that the Interim Use Permit request by the Ramsey Assembly of God to allow for the operation of temporary Church facility in an area zoned E-1 Employment District be granted for a term of five years.
