Subd. 3. City Permits Required A Moving Permit, issued by the City, is required to move any dwelling out of the City or any accessory building, with a roof area that exceeds 120 square feet, into, within, or out of the City. A Building Permit, issued by the City, is also required to move a dwelling or accessory building into or within the City. A Dwelling Moving Permit ("DMP"), issued by the City, in addition to the Building Permit, is required to move a dwelling into or within the City. Subd. 4. Exemption to DMP. Prefabricated framed panels for dwellings approved by the State of Minnesota are exempt from obtaining a DMP. Subd. 5. Procedure for Obtaining a DMP An applicant seeking to move a dwelling w/thin or into the City shall be required to file an official application and deposit with the City an escrow fee in an amount established by City Council. The application shall be signed by the applicant and joined in by all fee owners of the Subject Property. b. The applicant shall provide the following information: A description of the dwelling to be moved in or within the City, including dimensions, construction materials, age of dwelling, condition of exterior and interior, and photographs. 2. Address of the dwelling's origin. 3. Address of dwetling's destination and legal description of the Subject Property. A certificate of survey prepared by a registered land surveyor showing the proposed location of the dwelling on the Subject Property to which it is being moved. 5. The highways and streets within the City over, along or across which the building is to be moved. 6. The proposed moving date and hours. 7. Proof of a building-mover license/bond as issued by the State of Minnesota. 2 67
