Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #23-098 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING LEASE AGREEMENT OF 6781 and 6745 HWY 10 NW <br />WITH MILLE LACS MOTOR SPORTS II INC <br />WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports, Inc. (the "Tenant") has leased indoor and outside <br />storage space located at 6781 and 6745 Hwy 10 NW and depicted as "Area A, B, C, D and E" (the <br />"Lease Space") on the attached lease agreement for several years; and <br />WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports, Inc. has asked the City to consider a 2 year lease <br />of the of the Lease Space; and <br />WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports, Inc. (formerly Power Lodge) has been a good <br />tenant for the duration of its previous leases with the City; and <br />WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. has agreed to the terms in the attached <br />Lease Agreement including but not limited to the terms below: <br />- Lease Period 1- June 1, 2023 — May 31, 2024 - $5,242.47 / month <br />- Lease Period 2 — June 1, 2024 — May 31, 2025 - $5,551.32 / month <br />WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. is in Good Standing with the Secretary of <br />State of Minnesota as of April 27, 2023. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City of Ramsey authorizes execution of the Lease Agreement with Mille Lacs <br />Motor Sports, Inc.; subject to City Attorney review. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />
