Ordinance %84-15 Regarding Sale ~f City Property): a) Ordinance eB4-12 Establishing Purchasing Policy - 1) Reading Of Ordinance - Motion by Councilme~ber Reimann and seconded by Councilm~r Sorteberg to dispense with t~e reading of Ordinance %84-12 establishing the purchasing policy prior to it's adoption at this Council meeting. Mayor Gamec called for a roll call vote: Councilm~r Schlueter - Aye Councilme~ber Reimann - Aye Mayor G~mec - Aye Councilmeuber Van Wagner - Aye Councilmember Reimann - Aye Motion carried. 2) Adoption Of Ordinance %84-12 - Councilme~ber Schlueter inquired as to when a resolution will be adopted setting the amount for Field Purchase Orders. City Attorney Goodrich replied that such a resolution will be a good issue for Council's January, 1985 agenda. City Accountant l~aapala stated that the amount will most likely be $50.00; it has always been set at $50.00 in previous years; the ~ouat is being set by resolution to enable more ease in ~ending should it became necessary, due to inflation for instance. Motion by Councilm~mber Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to adopt Ordinance %84-12, chapter 10.10, which is kn~n as purchasing policy. Further, this ordinance will be published in the ~fficial newspaper and will take effect 30 days after its publication as required by Section 3 of the City Charter.
