Under this program, cities, acting <br />through participating lenders, may purchase special commitments of HHFA <br />Home Improvement or Home Mortgage funds for exclusive use within <br />their communities to meet unique local housing needs. Under this <br />program $1,885,00D in Home Improvement and Home Energy loan funding <br />has been awarded to seven cities. <br /> <br />$1,000,000 has been allocated to the Local Participation Program for <br />financing home improvements. Therefore, I~HFA is now accepting applica- <br />tions for Local Participation in the Home Improvement Loan Program. <br />This Local Participation program will run from January 1, through <br />December 31, 1985.
