BULLETIN <br /> <br />METROPOLITAN COUNCIL'S REVISED HOUSING GUIDE~ POLICY <br />PLAN; <br />The Metropolitan Council will be holdin~ a public <br />hearing on Thursday, November 29, 198~ at 2.00 P.M. in <br />the Metropolitan Council Chambers. As reported in a <br />previous Bulletin, the AMM Housing Committee and Board <br />of Directors have reviewed the "hearing draft" document <br />very thoroughly and have prepared a report delineating a <br />number of concerns and recommendations. A copy of the <br />AMM report is enclosed in the Manager/Administrator <br />mailing only and your city should have received a copy <br />of the Housing Guide Chapter Draft directly from the <br />Metropolitan Council in late October. The A~ Board and <br />Housing Committee have several major concerns with the <br />Housing Guide Chapter and I would encourage you to <br />review the Housing Guide Chapter "hearing draft" and the <br />AMM report. I would also suggest that if you share the <br />A~ concerns that your city make its concerns.known at <br />the public hearing. Also~ please discuss th~s matter <br />directly with the Metropolican Councilmember from <br />your district. I would appreciate receiving a copy of <br />any written statement or correspondence you prepare for <br />this hearing. <br /> <br /> TECHNICAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE (TAC) APPOINTMENTS: <br /> The major functions of TAC are to provide technical <br /> assistance, advice, and recommendations to the <br /> Metropolitan Area Transportation Advisory Board (TAB) on <br /> all facets of regional transportation planning.
