Councilr~mi~r Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION t84-221 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Councilme~ber Reimann raised the question of amending the <br />1984 City Budget to purchase a four-wheel drive pick-up truck to serve the pub- <br />lic works, police and p~rks departments; and <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, the Council Budget Cu~,~dttee has provided for a pick-up truck <br />in the 1985 City General Fund Budget which would be purchased ir(x, funds in the <br />ISqui~ent Revolving Fund in 1985; and <br /> <br /> WHEKEAS, City Staff was requested to sutnit price quotes to the Coun- <br />cil at their meeting of October 23, 1984 for their review and action; and <br /> <br /> WItEREAS, pursuant to a call for price quotes for a half ton 4 x 4 <br />pick-up for the City of Ramsey Street Department, the following price quotes <br />were received: <br /> <br />Automatic <br /> <br />4-speed Tr~-~. <br /> <br />Greenberg's Inc. $11,375.45 No Bid <br /> Jeep <br /> <br />~cmas Pontiac $10,882.75 <br /> ~C <br /> <br />$10,333.35 <br /> <br />Art Goebel, Inc. <br /> Ford <br /> <br />$10,475.00 <br /> <br />$9,950.00 <br /> <br />Main Motor Sales <br /> (hevrolet <br /> <br />$10,472.00 <br /> <br />$9,902.50 <br /> <br />Elk River Ford Mercury <br /> Ford <br /> <br />$10,198.41 <br /> <br />$9,477.68 <br /> <br /> ~s{?A~, it appears that Elk River Ford Mercury's bid in the mount cf <br />$9,477.68 was the best price quote; and <br /> <br /> h~ERS~S, Council hereby adopts Amendment {11 amending Street Activity <br />Account 101-4212-1508 and 101-4212-1510 of the City General Fund Budget and also <br />authorizes a transfer iran Equil~ent Revolving Fund 810 to General Fund 101 in <br />the mount of $10,330.00 to provide for the funding of said equil~ent. <br /> <br />N(~ TNEREFORE, BE IT RES(~VED BY ~HE CITY (IIJNCIL ~F T,E CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />CGONTY, STA~ (F MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) 2he City Council hereby accepts the price quote from Elk River <br />Ford Mercury in the mount of $9,477.68. Further, that it authorizes a camper <br />top be purchased at a cost of $260.00 and that a mobile radio unit be installed <br />at a cost of $630.00which is through the Bennepin County Purchasing bid. <br /> <br /> 2) ~he City Council hereby approves of Budget Amendment Ill which <br />directs the following changes to Street Activity Account 101-4212 of the 1984 <br />General Fund Budget: <br /> <br />Street Activity Account 101-4212-1508 frc~ $57,000 to $66,700 <br />Street Activity Account 101-4212-1510 frc~ $25,480 to $26,110 <br /> <br /> <br />
