Councilmember Van ~agner introduced the following resolution <br />~dmov~ for i~ a~ptlon: <br /> <br /> RESCUJTI~ ~84-227 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING <br />AENERTISF, MENT ~R BIDS <br /> <br />WR.EREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Ramsey <br />City Council on August 14, 1984, the City Engineer Mr. Peter R. <br />Raatikka.of Ra~anson Anderson Associates, Inc. has p{epared plans <br />and specifications for the improvement of public utility, street <br />and grading improvements to the. plat ~f River's Bend and has <br />presented such plans and specifications to the Ramsey City <br /> ~cll for a~roval.. <br /> WH.EREAS, the Ramsey City Counci} ta~led action on <br /> ta~ing bids for the street and grading improvements. <br /> NO~ ~EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TBE CITY COUNCIL OF TBE CITY OF <br /> ~, ANCKA C(I3NTY, S~ ~ M~NESO~, ~ ~oll~s: <br /> 1) That such plans and specifications, a copy of which <br /> is at~ here~ and~ a ~rt herTf, are hereby ap~ov~. <br /> 2) That the City Administrator/Clerk shall prepare and <br /> cause to be inserted in the official ~aper and in the <br /> Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon t~e m~king <br /> of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. <br /> The advertisement shall be published for twenty-one (21) days, <br /> shal~ s~cify the ~ork to ~e.done, shall state that bids will be <br /> received by the City Administrator/Clerk until 11:00 A.M. on <br /> December %0, 1984, at which time they will be publicly opened.in <br /> the.C~unc~l Chambers of th? Ramse¥ Municipal Center by the Caty <br /> Administrator/Clerk and City Engineer, will then be tabulated, <br /> and will be considered by the Ramsey City Council at 7:30 P.M. on <br /> December 11, 1984 in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal <br /> Center,. and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and <br /> filed.with th?
