<br />Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #23-097 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING LEASE WITH MILLE LACS MOTOR SPORTS II, INC. <br />FOR REAR 18,200 SQUARE FEET OF 6701 HWY 10 NW <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. is a growing business that currently <br />leases other properties in Ramsey and is in good standing; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc has asked the city to consider a Two Period <br />lease, in order to continue businesses efficiencies; for the 18,200 square foot, rear portion of the <br />building at 6701 Hwy NW as depicted on the lease agreement (the “Lease Space”); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. has agreed to the terms in the attached Lease <br />Agreement including but not limited to the terms below: <br /> <br />- Lease Period 1- June 1, 2023 – May 31, 2024 - $4,827.10 / month <br />- Lease Period 2 – June 1, 2024 – May 31, 2025 - $6,445.83 / month <br />WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. is in Good Standing with the Secretary of State of <br />Minnesota as of April 27, 2023. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City of Ramsey authorizes execution of the Lease Agreement for 18,200 square <br />feet of cold storage in the rear of the building at 6701 Hwy 10 with Mille Lacs Motor Sports <br />II, Inc.; subject to City Attorney review. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Woestehoff, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
