Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #23-097 RESOLUTION APPROVING LEASE WITH MILLE LACS MOTOR SPORTS II, INC. FOR REAR 18,200 SQUARE FEET OF 6701 HWY 10 NW WHEREAS, the Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. is a growing business that currently leases other properties in Ramsey and is in good standing; and WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc has asked the city to consider a Two Period lease, in order to continue businesses efficiencies; for the 18,200 square foot, rear portion of the building at 6701 Hwy NW as depicted on the lease agreement (the “Lease Space”); and WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. has agreed to the terms in the attached Lease Agreement including but not limited to the terms below: - Lease Period 1- June 1, 2023 – May 31, 2024 - $4,827.10 / month - Lease Period 2 – June 1, 2024 – May 31, 2025 - $6,445.83 / month WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. is in Good Standing with the Secretary of State of Minnesota as of April 27, 2023. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City of Ramsey authorizes execution of the Lease Agreement for 18,200 square feet of cold storage in the rear of the building at 6701 Hwy 10 with Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc.; subject to City Attorney review. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Woestehoff, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Kuzma Councilmember Musgrove Councilmember Woestehoff Councilmember Howell Councilmember Olson Councilmember Riley Councilmember Specht and the following voted against the same: None
