<br />Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #23-099 <br /> <br />APPROVING LEASE AGREEMENT OF 6745 HWY 10 NW (FRONT) WITH MILLE <br />LACS MOTOR SPORTS II, INC <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. (the “Tenant”) has leased indoor and outside <br />storage space located at 6781, 6701 and 6745 Hwy 10 NW for several years; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. has asked the City to lease for the front <br />portion of 6745 Hwy 10 NW (as depicted on Exhibit A ”Lease Reference Map”) from June 1, <br />2023-May 31, 2025; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. (formerly Power Lodge) has been a good <br />tenant for the duration of its previous leases with the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, improvements identified in a memo dated April 6, 2021 by the Building <br />Official have been made to the Lease Property prior to the Tenant move in and operation (including <br />fill for Pit Area); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. has agreed to the terms in the attached Lease <br />Agreement including but not limited to the terms below: <br /> <br />- Lease Period 1- June 1, 2023 – May 31, 2024 - $4,053.33 / month <br />- Lease Period 2 – June 1, 2024 – May 31, 2025 - $4,864.00 / month <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. is in Good Standing with the Secretary of <br />State of Minnesota as of April 27, 2023; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City of Ramsey authorizes the execution of the Lease Agreement with Mille Lacs <br />Motor Sports II, Inc.; subject to City Attorney review. <br />2) Authorize Staff to communicate to the Tenant that the lease for 6745 Hwy 10 (front) will <br />not be extended beyond May 31, 2025. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Woestehoff, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br /> <br />
