Member Elvig stated he has received phone calls from business located in the City that are upset
because they have contacted the phone number listed for Town Center opportunities and
identified themselves as existing Ramsey businesses, and have not received return phone calls.
He has heard this concern numerous times in the past; this is likely the fifth time in the last six
months that he has received this complaint.

Chairperson Riley inquired if it is likely that Ramsey Town Center will be affected by the Target
expansion project in Brooklyn Park. Economic Development Consultant Mulrooney replied
Ramsey Town Center is far enough away that it should not be negatively impacted by the
project. If anything it will be a positive for the area; it will create employment opportunities a lot
closer to home for people that live in Anoka County. He noted the project will be similar to what
is envisioned at Ramsey Town Center.

ADJOURN

Motion by Member Elvig, seconded by Member Kiefer, to adjourn the meeting.

Motion carried.
