Sunwood Grand project in the Rarnsey Town Center. The proceeds from the TIF district will be
used to assist the project with the parking structure as well as other financing gaps. Both bills
are through preliminary committees and should hit the floor in the next few weeks for a vote.
Staff is cautiously optimistic that both bills will pass.

Future Meeting Topics: 1. For many years, the progress of site redevelopment had been hindered, as there were a number of parcels
which had environmental concerns with respect to soil and/or ground water contamination. Addressing the environmental concerns and
moving forward with redevelopment activities, is in concert with the city's vision of increasing tax base and creating new livable
neighborhoods that meet identified housing needs in the community. Join us for EDAM's Third Thursday lunch to learn more about the
redeveloping of Columbia Heights.

To register online, please click "Register for Event Now" above and complete the online registration form.
