P~g~ 1 of I

JoAnn Shaw

From: Gcodrichww~aol.cam
Sent: Wednesday, March 01, 2006 6:27 PM
To: JcAnn Shaw

Subject: concerned ramsay resident

To whom it may c~ncern:

I am wdting this since [ am unable to attend the meeting on Thursday night due to work conflicts. I have many concerns
about the Kelly Acres and Rum River Praide projects. [ grew up in Anoka and have Iived in Ramsay now for 14 years
so i am a long term resident cf the area and have seen how it has grown. I have made my hcme in Ramsay for many
reasons none cf which are high density neighborhoods cr city sewerN~ater. I understand that areas grow but the area
offArmstrong 81vd fram 148th to 178th is in beautiful neighborhccds with acre + lots. What is the rational fcr a high
density neighborhood right in the middle of all this? Just because it may meet the "legal code" and a few may make
themselfs rich does not mean it is right far Ramsay. The Town center is a great project but it is nat dropped in the
middle of a already existing rural neighborhood. The concerns range from traffic problems to the cost of being forced
into sewerlwated hack up. Ask yourself if you lived in the area wculd you think this project is good for Ramsay? Will
the city council suppcr~ the majority of the people that live in [heir ward or do they suppcrt the few? Will you? It seems
like the project gives the develo~2ers the best of both worlds with ciuster housing now and city sewer/water later. I do
have to say thankyou for the way i have been treated with my questions and phone calls. The people at the planning
commisicn office have been very heipful in getting me the facts and explaining details. Thank you for your ~ime.

William Wimmer
8900 167th In nw
Ramsay
763-441-3026

-171-
~/2/2006
