Crl~' OF ~LENDOTA HEIGHTS <br /> <br />STREET RFA-IABILITATION AND RECONSTRUCTION POLICY <br /> <br />PURPOSE <br /> <br /> The City of Mendota Heights Street Rehnhilitation and Reconstruction policy is intended <br />to provide a plan for mainmlnlng the City's existing ~htx:ts, and encourage the upgrade of rural <br />s~rects to urban design. <br /> <br /> This document sets forth the methods and policies relating to lo<mi slanzet improvements <br /> and special assessments practiced in the City of Mendota Heights. It is empbas;?ed that tl~ <br /> following summary is general in nature and that certain cqrcumstances may justify deviations <br /> from stated policy as determined by thc Mendota Heights City Council in ils discretion. This <br />· policy may also bo amended from time to time by vote of City Council <br /> <br /> SECTION I <br /> <br />DEFINITIONS <br /> <br />Pdt. Preventative maintenance will include but <br />not be limited to crock filling, patching, and seal coating. <br /> <br />RIJI~L STREET - any street that has no curb and g~utter or storm sewer, or does not <br />otherwise meet City design standards for thiclmess and width. <br /> <br />URB~ STREET - a street tint has curb and gutter, storm sewer, and is designed 'to <br />City standards for thickness and width. <br /> <br />-297- <br /> <br /> <br />
