Presentation Ass't Community Development Dir/HRA Executive Dir. Frolik explained the final plat for River Pines 6th Addition has been pulled from the agenda this evening. The public hearing for this easement vacation was advertised for tonight, so it should be opened and adjourned. If this plat goes forward the easement vacation will be re-advertised. Cit~en Input There wasnone. Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Olson, to close the public hearing. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Olson, Cook, Jeffrey, Pearson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. The public hearing was closed at 7:10 p.m. Council Business Mayor Garnet called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:10 p.m. Case #3: Public Hearing and Request for Vacation of Easement in Ramsey Town Center 3ra Addition; Case of Sophia-Ramsey, LLC Mayor Gamec closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:11 p.m. in order to conduct a public hearing. Public Hearing Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:11 p.m. Presentation Ass't Community Development Dir/HRA Executive Dir. Frolik explained as part of fulfilling the City's requirements to provide as-builts upon completion of development projects, the developers of Ramsey Town Center 3ra Addition determined that the rear wall of the Cobom's building encroaches the drainage and utility easement on the south side of the building. The amount of encroachment measures 5 feet x 107 feet. The City Engineering Department has reviewed the request and determined that there are no utilities lying under this 5 x 7 foot area. Ms. Frolik advised staff recommends introduction of the ordinance to vacate a portion of the drainage and utility easement along the south property line of Lot 1, Block 1, Ramsey Town Center 3rd Addition.
