ORDINANCE NO. 23-10 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING RAMSEY CITY CODE, CHAPTER 105, BUILDINGS <br />AND BUILDING REGULATIONS, ARTICLE II, STATE BUILDING CODE, SECTION <br />105-23 AND THE CREATION OF CITY CODE, CHAPTER 105, BUILDINGS AND <br />BUILDING REGULATIONS, ARTICLE II, STATE BUILDING CODE, SECTION 105.25, <br />PLUMBING PERMIT ADMINISTRATION, PLAN REVIEW, AND INSPECTIONS <br />The purpose of this amendment is to add Section 105-25 Plumbing Permit <br />Administration, Plan Review, Inspections to Chapter 105 Buildings and Building <br />Regulations, Article 11 State Building Code. The City of Ramsey does ordain that <br />Chapter 105, Article 11 is hereby amended as follows: <br />SECTION 1. AUTHORITY <br />This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the City Charter of the <br />City of Ramsey. <br />SECTION 2. AMENDMENT TO CITY CODE SECTION 105-23 <br />The current City Code Section 105-23 is revised as follows (additions indicated by <br />underline, deletions indicated by strikethrough): <br />Sec. 105-23. - Application, administration and enforcement. <br />The community development department of the city shall be the enforcing agency. The <br />code shall be enforced by the state certified building official designated by the city to <br />administer the Minnesota State Building GCode in compliance with Minnesota Statute <br />3266.133, including plumbing plan review and inspections. <br />SECTION 3. SECTION 105-25 ADDITION TO CITY CODE <br />City Code Section 105-25 is created as follows (additions indicated by underline): <br />Sec. 105-25. - Plumbing Permit Administration, Plan Review, and Inspections <br />a. All plumbing on private property within the city must comply with the provisions of <br />the state building and plumbing code and this article. <br />b. Plans and specifications. Prior to the installation of a system of plumbing other <br />than for a single-family dwelling, complete plans and specifications, together with <br />any additional information that the building official may require, must be <br />submitted and reviewed by the building official or their designee prior to permits <br />and installation. Construction cannot proceed except in accordance with <br />approved plans and specifications. Any alteration, extension, or repair of an <br />
