The Playground sign may <br />have a fluorescent yellow-green background with a black <br />legend and border. <br /> <br /> If the access to the playground area requires a roadway <br />crossing, the application of crosswalk pavement markings <br />(see Section 3B.17) and Nonvehicular signs (see Section <br />2C.41) should be considered. <br /> <br />2C.43 Use of Supplemental Plaques <br /> <br /> OPTION: ] <br /> A supplemental plaque may be displayed with a warning <br />sign whet engineering judgment indicates that road users <br />require additional information beyond that contained in the <br />main message of the warning sign. <br /> <br /> Supplemental plaques shall be used only in combination <br />with warning or regulatory signs. They shall not be mounted <br />alone or displayed alone.
