ANOKA COUNTY STATE Ot: MINNESOTA AN INTERIM ORDINANCE ESTAREISHING A MORATORIUM ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND WITHIN THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA The City of Ramsey Ordains: SECTION 1. AUTHORITY This Ordinance is adopted pursuant to that authority granted to the City by MSA 462.355, Subd. 4, entitled ~lnterim Ordinance." SECTION 2. ORDINANCE SUMMARY FOR PUBLICATION The following is the officia~ summary of Ordinance #06-07, which has been approved by the City Council of the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance: Interim Ordinance #06-07 establishes a moratorium on all subdivision and plat- ting in the R-1 Rural Developing District in the City of Rarnsey. The purpose of the moratorium is to prote~t the City's plan- ning process and the health, safety, and welfare of its citizens and consider the development standards for the R-1 Rural Developing District. SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance shall take effect u~on adoption and thirty (30) days after publication according to law, subiect to Cha~ter Provision, Section 5.04. of Rarnsey, Minnesota on the t 1 th day of April, 2006.
