DECLARE CERTAIN CITY VEHICLES AS EXCESS EQUIPMENT <br /> By: Heidi A. Nelson, Asst. City Administrator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The fleet of city vehicles has been reviewed and staff is proposing to declare two (2) <br />vehicles as excess inventory and sell them at auction. The City has established an <br />account with the Minneapolis Auto Auction for the sale of city vehicles. Dan Bray, Sr. <br />Building Maintenance Worker, will be overseeing the auction of vehicles for the City. <br />The two (2) vehicles proposed to be declared excess are listed below: <br /> <br />LrNIT 303 2FAFP71W9WX129758, Mileage 102,883 <br />UNIT 309 2FAFP71W4YX138550, Mileage 99,592 <br /> <br />City staff will be reviewing the fleet on a bi-annual basis for vehicles that are excess or <br />should be removed from the fleet due to condition of the vehicle. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> Authorize Resolution No. 06-04-xx, Declaring Excess Equipment <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> Adopt Resolution No. 06-04-xx, Declaring Excess Equipment <br /> <br />Re_viewed by: <br />Finance Officer <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />CC: 04/25/06 <br /> <br />-173- <br /> <br /> <br />
