Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #23-124 <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE STATE OF MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF <br />LABOR AND INDUSTRY PLAN REVIEW AGREEMENT <br />WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry conducts plumbing <br />plan reviews for commercial and public projects for the City of Ramsey; and <br />WHEREAS, MN Statutes 326B.43 Subd 2 permits the delegation of authority for <br />commercial plumbing plan reviews to municipalities with the required credentials; and <br />WHEREAS, as part of the delegation process, the City of Ramsey City Council shall <br />support the endorsement of an application and submission of an agreement with the State of <br />Minnesota, the Department of Labor and Industry. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) The City Council hereby approves an agreement between the City of Ramsey and the State <br />of Minnesota, Department of Labor and Industry for the delegation of authority to conduct <br />plumbing plan reviews for commercial and public projects to the City of Ramsey. <br />2) The approval of the agreement is contingent upon the adoption of Ordinance #23 -10, <br />Amendment to Chapter 105, Building and Building Regulations. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />
