CC Regular Session 5.15. <br />Meeting Date: 06/ 13/2023 <br />Submitted For: Joe Feriancek, Engineering/Public Works <br />By: Joe Feriancek, Engineering/Public Works <br />Information <br />Title <br />Adopt Resolution #23-130 Accepting Proposals for Topographic Surveys for 2024 Pavement Management <br />Program Projects <br />Purpose/Background: <br />Purpose: <br />The purpose of this case is to adopt Resolution #23-130 accepting proposals for topographic surveys for 2024 <br />pavement management program projects. <br />Background: <br />On March 28, 2023 the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #23-062, ordering Staff to request proposals for <br />topographic surveys for 2024 Pavement Management Program (PMP) projects. In addition to 2024 PMP projects, <br />City Council discussion included adding Fox Ridge Estates 1st and 2nd Street Reconstruction to the list of projects <br />to receive proposals. Fox Ridge Estates 1 st and 2nd is proposed in the current 2023 — 2032 Capital Improvement <br />Program (CIP) as a 2025 street reconstruction. Obtaining topographic surveys does not move the improvement up <br />to 2024, but will allow City Staff to begin working on plans and specifications once 2024 improvement designs <br />are complete. Because of the size of the Fox Ridge Estates 1st and 2nd subdivision, receiving the topographic <br />survey in the fall of 2023 is appropriate to allow Staff an early start on design, which would otherwise wait until <br />late spring of 2024. <br />Staff will use the materials as design aids for the improvement projects.
