CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON GRANTING OF A BUSINESS SUBSIDY Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Ramsey will hold a public hearing on Tues- day, June 13, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, MN 55303. All interested persons are invited to attend and comment on the proposed requests regarding a proposed business subsidy to be granted by the City to Ramsey Properties, LLC, (the "Recipient") under Minnesota Statutes, Sec- tions 116J.993 through 116J.995. The proposed subsidy involves the sale of City land to the Recipient and will facilitate development by the Recipient of a 65,672 square foot 98-unit hotel and related facil- ities to be located in the City (the "Project") and will result in an in- crease of the tax base of the City, the creation of 11 jobs paying at least a minimum wage of $14.75 per hour and the requirement to operate a hotel at this location for five years is a goal of the business subsidy. Any person with residence in or the owner of taxable property in the granting jurisdiction may file a writ- ten complaint with the City if the City fails to comply with sections 116J.993 to 116J.995, and that no action may be filed against the City for the failure to comply unless a written complaint is filed. Information about the proposed business subsidy, including a sum- mary of the terms of the subsidy are available for inspection at City Hall during regular business hours. After the public hearing the City Council will consider granting the business subsidy. The City of Ramsey complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act and upon advance request, in- formation will be provided in an al- ternative form and interpreters will be available.
