Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #23-128 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #23-17, COR TREE CLEARING <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to construct infrastructure improvements within The <br />COR; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council resolution #22-241, adopted October 25, 2022, the <br />City Council authorized Bolton & Menk, Inc. to complete The COR Public Infrastructure and Wetland <br />Analysis proposals; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council resolution #23-107, adopted May 9, 2023, the City <br />Council authorized Bolton & Menk, Inc. to prepare The COR Public Infrastructure Design Services <br />proposal and the advertisement of bids for The COR tree clearing improvements of said project; and <br />WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Anoka Union Herald newspaper on May 12 and May 19, <br />2023; and <br />WHEREAS, five (5) bids were received, opened and tabulated on June 6, 2023, and the following <br />bids were found to comply with the approved plans and specifications and advertisements for bids; and <br />Company <br />Bid <br />Novco Inc. <br />$133,500.00 <br />Reshetar Systems, Inc. <br />$2871000.00 <br />Urban Companies <br />$3341000.00 <br />Husky Construction, Inc. <br />$ 3 5 5, 5 69.94 <br />US Sitework <br />$399,300.00 <br />WHEREAS, Novco Inc. of Elk River, Minnesota, withdrew their bid in accordance with the <br />approved plans and specifications; and <br />WHEREAS, the bid of Rehsetar Systems, Inc. of Anoka, Minnesota, in the amount of $287,000.00 <br />for the total bid for construction of the improvements in accordance with the approved plans and <br />specifications and advertisement for bids, is the lowest responsible bidder and their bid shall be and hereby <br />is accepted. <br />
