Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06-05- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # <br />REQUEST TO ALLOW FOR OUTDOOR STORAGE ON <br />SURFACE ON A PARCEL ZONED R-1 RESIDENTIAL <br /> <br />RELATING TO A <br />AN UNIMPROVED <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Corey Moyer, of RV World, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has <br />properly applied to the City of Kamsey (the "City") for an interim use permit for outdoor storage <br />on an unimproved surface the property located at 14453 Llama St NW legally described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />The Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 29, Township 32, Range <br />25, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing pursuant <br /> to Section 9.03.06 of the Ramsey City Code on May 4, 2006, and that the public hearing was <br /> properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by <br /> reference. <br /> <br />2. Th~t~the Subject Property is zoned R-1 Residential; the adjacent parcels to the east, west, and <br /> south are zoned R-1 Residential and the property to the north is zoned B-2 Business. <br /> <br />3. That the Subject Property is approximately 40 acres. <br /> <br />4. That the Applicant operates an RV dealership located at 7405 Highway 10 NW. <br /> <br />5. That the Applicant has an agreement with the owner of the Subject Property to utilize the <br /> land for off-site storage of surplus Recreational Vehicles (RVs) and travel trailers. <br /> <br />6. That the R- 1 Residential District does not permit this type of outdoor storage. <br /> <br />7. That the RVs and travel trailers are currently stored on an unimproved surface on the Subject <br /> Property. <br /> <br />8. That interim use permits, by definition, are limited to a maximum timeframe of five (5) years. <br /> <br />9. That the Applicant is requesting an interim use permit to allow for the storage of up to sixty <br /> (60) RVs and/or travel trailers on the Subject Property for five (5) years. <br /> <br />24 <br /> <br /> <br />
